If the mold design is not considered in the early stage, there will be a variety of problems in the late injection molding, such as shrinkage, glue injection is not satisfied with the lack of glue, top white, tiger skin lines, weld marks, stress marks and so on, resulting in repeated mold modification in the late stage, which increases a lot of costs. As shown in the following figure, stress marks appear on the TV bracket, how to solve it?
1. The definition of stress mark: the appearance difference caused by the sudden change of temperature, pressure or shrinkage in the molding process of the material
2. The current feeding mode is analyzed with mold flow analysis software
(1) Distribution of weld marks. The positions of the four weld marks analyzed are corresponding to those on the actual product
(2) volume yield contour distribution
In the original scheme, the area where the volume shrinkage rate contour line is dense corresponds to the position where the light and shadow appear on the product surface. Modified Scheme 1:
(1) A gate is poured, and the melt flow is balanced
(2) connection distribution
(3) volume yield contour distribution
4. Revision Plan 2:
(1) Annular gate analysis model is adopted
(2) The distribution of weld marks, the center of the product appears short weld marks. (The adjustment will continue until the weld mark disappears)
(3) Contour distribution of volume shrinkage rate
The main and secondary surface of the product have no dense area of volume shrinkage rate contour
